Ravenfield – Game Configuration

I believe you have recently discovered the "Game Configuration" option when opening the creative workshop:

So what is this thing? To put it simply, this is a MOD integration package that can help you modify and allocate option data for camps, vehicles, and weapons, allowing you to experience different battlefield styles in Ravenfield.

The OD integration package contains two combinations of configuration files (suffix: .rgc) and various types of MODs.

"MOD" I believe everyone should be very familiar with it, so I won't go into details here. So what is a "configuration file (suffix: .rgc)"? For example, you are dining in a restaurant. This restaurant has a lot of food, and you happen to have difficulty choosing. What should you do? Don’t worry, at this time, the restaurant will usually provide you with their set menu, which contains different set menus, including Wang Zeyuan’s version of Zhenxiang set meal, Gluten Brother’s version of spicy set meal, and Liang Feifan’s version (forget it) ). . . Wait, so that you can taste different flavors of food, and this set menu is now what is called a profile.

It's worth noting that the config file is very small, it's not a MOD! Not a MOD! Not a MOD! Strictly speaking, it is a text file with only a lot of data, and these data will directly help you modify and assign map, camp, vehicle, and weapon options.

Next, I will teach you how to use the game MOD integration package. This tutorial is only applicable to the official version of the game (B2018.10) and the test version (EA11) of the 11 version. The big players basically know how to operate it. If you are new to it, you may as well come here have a look. :

download

Currently there is only one integration package called "Battlefield 1 collection". Open it and don't rush to click "Subscribe". Steam will generally prompt you that this integration package requires the following MODs to run:

This contains the vehicle and weapon MODs required for this integration package. Just click on them one by one to download. The number of MODs determines whether this integration package can bring out the battlefield style it should have. Of course, you don’t have to select them all, and it won’t cause the integration package to fail to run. Whether you select them or not depends on your decision.
After everything is downloaded, remember to refresh it so that you can see what you have not downloaded on the right side of the page:

At this time, click to subscribe to this configuration file (don’t forget this), so that the entire integration package is downloaded.

run

Open the game and select "Ripoff_BF1" in the Game Configuration on the start interface:

At this time, open the weapon MOD (WEAPON SWITCH) and vehicle MOD (VEHICLLE SWITCH) selection, and you will find that it has already modified the configuration for you:

Then just choose a map you like and run it (the integration package currently does not have a map MOD, which is the most lacking, I don’t know if it will be added in the future).

After entering the game, remember to adjust your weapons to be the same as the AI, because the game defaults to players being able to use all weapons. Without adjustments, it will greatly damage the game experience of the integration package (use modern weapons to fight the Germans, are you embarrassed?), So what's the point of downloading this integration package?

### delete

There are currently two ways to delete the configuration file: click "Unsubscribe" on the configuration file and MOD in the creative workshop. You can also delete it directly in the local folder of the game. The configuration file is generally placed in the following path (borrow the picture from the owner):

It is not recommended to delete local folders. Steam has a cloud storage function, just in case it comes back to you one day. Let me complain, this cannot be deleted in the game, which is a bit troublesome.
